I could never imagine spending the kind of money this cost, but even more so I couldn't imagine doing so without adding the extended protection plan. While it's disappointing that the plan starts from the time of purchase and not the time of shipment/delivery, my only reason for dropping one star, but other than that I couldn't be happier to know that I have added piece of mind for the next three years if (gods forbid) anything were to happen.
