My husband purchased a beautiful wedding band for me from Staghead, and I absolutely love it. Because I was so impressed with my ring, I decided to purchase his wedding band from Staghead as well. The ordering process was smooth, and shipping was timely, so initially everything seemed great.
Unfortunately, I am extremely disappointed with the quality of my husband's ring. We ordered the Vertigo wedding band in silver with a single mossy patina copper inlay. While the ring looked beautiful when it arrived, it has not held up at all. After being worn only 2–3 times, it became heavily scratched and developed two odd dark tarnish-like spots. My husband noticed the issues almost immediately and stopped wearing it to prevent further damage.
I'm not sure if the problem is related to the metal used, but this level of wear after such minimal use is far below what we expected from a wedding band. Given my positive experience with my own Staghead ring, this was especially disappointing.
To make matters worse, my husband attempted to contact customer service and left a voicemail, but we never received a return call. Between the poor durability of the ring and the lack of response from customer service, our experience has been very frustrating. I had high expectations based on my own ring, but unfortunately, this purchase did not meet those standards.
I purchased the Rio for my husband for our 5th Wedding Anniversary. Because it was the year of wood this band was perfect with the Bourbon Barrel inset in it.
There’s not enough I can say about the quality of workmanship. You can tell that great care was taken in the crafting of this ring. It is so dainty, beautiful, and perfect! The alexandrite stone shows a different color in different lighting, making it so unique. Definitely not disappointed!!
My fiancé literally can’t wait to get married so he can wear this ring! It’s perfection every way as is the engraving on the ring box (such a lovely option!). So glad we found Staghead so we can have something for him that’s not mainstream or cookie cutter. This ring is truly special and I love that it’s going to be a symbol of our commitment to one another. Thank you for the work you guys do!
