A Love Story, Woven In: Wedding Dress Inlay Bands by Staghead Designs

At Staghead Designs, we’ve always believed a wedding band should carry more than beauty, it should carry meaning. Few things are as personal as the fabric you wore when you said "I do". Now, that memory can live on in a way you’ll see and feel every single day.

With our wedding dress rings, couples send us a small piece of their actual gown, and we carefully set it into the ring itself. Transforming a treasured dress into a lifelong heirloom.

How It Works

After ordering, you’ll receive instructions on how to mail in a 3–4 inch piece of your wedding dress. Our team then prepares the fabric and inlays it into a narrow channel within your band, sealing it with a protective layer designed to preserve the material for everyday wear.

Each ring becomes a one-of-a-kind reflection of the dress and the day that started it all.

What to Expect From the Final Look

Because every wedding dress is unique in material, weave, texture, and design, no two inlays will ever look the same. The final aesthetic depends heavily on how your specific fabric interacts with:

  • The metal type of the ring
  • The protective sealant
  • The weave, thickness, and texture of the fabric itself

While we always aim to showcase as much character from the dress as possible, the inlay channel is quite narrow. This means bold patterns, florals, or textures may appear more subtle once set into the band.

A Note on Color

One of the most important things to understand is that your fabric may not remain bright white once it is set into the ring.

Different metals and the preservation process can slightly alter how the fabric appears. This is completely normal and something to keep in mind when placing your order.

Think of it less as preserving the exact shade, and more as preserving the story.

Dresses with Beads or Sequins

If your gown features beading or sequins, don’t worry, we can still use it. These elements will be carefully removed before the fabric is placed into the ring so the inlay sits smoothly and securely.

Can You Choose the Exact Section?

Absolutely! We will always do our best to accommodate requests for specific areas of the fabric. However, depending on thickness, material type, or structure, we may need to select a nearby section to ensure the best possible result inside the ring.

Why Couples Love This Option

This design is especially meaningful for:

  • Brides who want to carry a piece of their gown forever
  • Couples who love heirloom-quality symbolism
  • Anyone looking for a wedding band that literally no one else in the world can have

It’s sentimental. It’s sustainable. It’s deeply personal.

And it turns a dress hanging in a closet into something you’ll wear for a lifetime.

Before Ordering: Please Read

Because of the many variables involved with fabric, metal, and preservation, we cannot guarantee an exact aesthetic outcome. The photos in the listing show examples of how different fabrics transformed once set into rings to help give a general idea of what to expect.

Each ring is a collaboration between your memories and our craftsmanship.

And that’s what makes it so special. Click here to order your own wedding dress ring.
