If you opt out of our free ring sizing kit and need to get sized by a local jeweler, please keep in mind that there are multiple factors that go into how a ring will fit which determines the actual size you will need. We highly recommend being sized by 2-3 different, reputable jewelers and preferably at different times of day. You can find your ring style below (wide bands, narrow bands, or comfort fit bands) and follow those instructions when going to the local jeweler.
Standard Fit Wide Bands (5mm-9mm): Request the jewelers use STANDARD FIT bands, not comfort fit, that are WIDE (at least 6mm) and to not use the skinny key ring sizers, the paper method, string method, or sizing dowels.
Metal ring bases this method applies to: Titanium, Black Zirconium, Damascus Steel, Silver, or Gold
Comfort Fit Wide Bands (8mm): Request the jewelers use COMFORT FIT bands, not standard fit, that are WIDE (at least 5-6mm) and not use the skinny key ring sizers, the paper method, string method, or sizing dowels.
Metal ring bases this method applies to: Tungsten
Our tungsten rings are crafted exclusively in an 8mm width with a comfort fit band and are only available in whole and half sizes from 6 to 15. Width customizations cannot be accommodated.
Narrow Bands (1mm-4mm): Request the jewelers to use rings that are 1mm-4mm wide. They likely will size you using key ring sizers or typical engagement rings/narrow wedding bands, and either of those methods is completely fine!
This method applies to all metal types
Additional Information:
If your ring size is larger than a size 8 3/4 for a women’s ring or a size 12 1/2 for a masculine ring, there is a metal upgrade fee to account for additional materials used
Black zirconium rings are sized up by machining out the interior of the ring, which removes the black surface and exposes the natural gray color beneath. However, the gray is typically not visible while the ring is being worn.
Rings below size 5 and above size 13 are not eligible for a refund or store credit.
All of our rings are made to international sizing standards, with a precision tolerance of ±0.1 mm.
