MEN'S WEDDING BANDS

Men's wedding bands are traditionally worn on the ring finger, or fourth digit, of the left hand of the wearer. This is due to an ancient belief in a vein called the Vena Amoris (vein of love) that ran directly to the heart from this finger.

However, some chose to wear the wedding band on their right hand, which is a common practice in Eastern European cultures. It is also common for left-handed people to wear their ring on the right hand to prevent discomfort or damage, as they use their left hand more.

Some couples may also choose their right hand as a conscious departure from tradition.

At the end of the day, your wedding ring is yours to wear. So, wear it in a way that aligns with your lifestyle and your beliefs.

Traditionally, the groom would purchase the bride’s wedding band, and the bride would buy the groom’s wedding band. However, today it is much more fluid.
