Product Details
A pear cut mint tourmaline is a truly enchanting gemstone celebrated for its refreshing and vibrant color. The mint hue, a delicate blend of soft green and subtle blue, resembles the color of fresh mint leaves and evokes a sense of tranquility and vitality. The pear cut
elegantly combines a rounded bottom with a tapered point, enhancing the stone's brilliance and making it particularly eye-catching. This cut allows light to reflect beautifully within the gem, creating a captivating sparkle that highlights the tourmaline's clarity and vivid color. Its distinctive color and cut
make it a wonderful choice for those seeking a unique and stylish gemstone.
Brazilian tourmaline is known for its high quality and vibrant tones, and this teal variant stands out for its rarity. The gem’s natural origin adds to its appeal, ensuring that each piece is one-of-a-kind.
Tourmaline ranks 7 to 7.5 on the Moh's Scale of Hardness. The Mohs Scale is a system used to grade the hardness of minerals (resistance to scratching) ranging from 1 to 10. For reference, diamonds are rated 10 on the Mohs scale, as they are the hardest mineral and can only be scratched by other diamonds. Talc has a rating of 1 on the Mohs Scale and can be easily scratched and crushed. Stones ranking seven or higher are best for everyday wear.
